“KTM Presents the New (The corner rocket) 390 Duke for the 2024 model year. The redesigned sports naked has a number of upgrades, including a new engine, new frame, new design, improved electronics, and much more, so stay tuned. The new, Euro 5+-approved LC4c engine is still a liquid-cooled single-cylinder but has a larger displacement.
It is now 399 cc. generating a maximum of 39 Nm of torque and 44 horsepower. There are also two electronic riding modes: Launch Control, ABS Cornering, and ABS Supermoto. Up and down rapid shifter is an optional feature. Other modifications besides the engine include a new steel trellis frame that is two parts, a new curved aluminium swingarm, a single shock absorber that has been moved laterally to make room for a larger air-box, and a 43mm WP apex up front. Redesigned offset triple tree, slightly larger wheelbase, new forged aluminium footpegs, new metal tank, and down front forks with adjustable compression and rebound..
The stock KTM PowerParts seat spacer bushing can be removed to reduce the seat’s height from the standard 820 mm to 800 mm. Additionally, the braking system has been updated and now uses a 320 mm front disc that was cut from a 4-inch disc. Directly on the rim and mounted on a radial-mount calliper was the piston. In combination with the lightweight wheels, this helps reduce unsprung weight, which improves agility.
The 240 mm disc with a two-piston calliper is located at the back. The ABS cornering system helps with everything, as was already indicated. A new and upgraded 5-inch completely digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity is included with these changes and allows for turn-by-turn navigation, notifications, audio controls, and more.
Due to the brand-new LED headlights, the aesthetics have also been entirely updated. The superstructure now resembles the bigger brother 1290 Super Duke and is more “large.” That’s it.
