Jammu Kashmir Anantnag Encounter: On September 13, in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir, while fighting with terrorists, three soldiers showed courage and sacrificed their lives for the country. Among these brave soldiers, two were army officers and one was an officer of Jammu and Kashmir Police.
An Indian Army officer said Army colonels and majors, as well as Jammu and Kashmir Police DSPs, made the supreme sacrifice for the country in the encounter with terrorists in Anantnag. Terrorist organization TRF has taken responsibility for the Anantnag encounter.

Colonel Singh led his team and attacked the terrorists, but the terrorists opened fire on them. Special forces have been deployed to eliminate the terrorists present in this area, and it is being told that 3 to 4 terrorists were present. The search operation will continue throughout the night.
Major Ashish was a resident of Haryana
Major Ashish was originally a resident of Binjhaul village of Panipat, Haryana. Presently, his family lives in a rented house in Sector-7, Panipat. Humayun Bhatt is the son of retired IG Ghulam Hasan Bhatt of Jammu and Kashmir Police.

Army Northern Command Commander Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi had said earlier in the day on Wednesday that Pakistan was hindering the progress in the internal security situation in Jammu and Kashmir by trying to infiltrate foreign terrorists into the territory.
